Do you already know the Gasometer Pforzheim? The gigantic exhibition building measures 40 meters high and 40 meters in diameter. The visitor platform impresses at a height of 15 meters.

The bell gas storage facility in Pforzheim regulated the gas supply for about 100 years. The Parkhotel Pforzheim took over the demolished gas storage from the municipal utilities in order to save this monument – one of the last of its kind. Independently  and as a private initiative, the historic building was saved from demolition and, with our own funds, converted into an impressive event location.

Thanks to the extensive general renovation, the industrial monument was revived: the Gasometer Pforzheim was opened in 2014. Since then it has been a highlight of the city, attracting numerous visitors and tourists. The starting point was the 360-degree panorama exhibition "Rome 312", which already saw unexpected success and enthused thousands of spectators. The event was reminiscent of the founding of the city: for 200 years Pforzheim was in Roman hands, from here important trade routes were developed.

Since autumn 2018, there has been a new exhibition in the Gasometer: the incomparable underwater world of the "Great Barrier Reef" awaits you. The artist Yadegar Asisi has created the world's largest 360-degree panorama here. Dive under the surface of the sea and experience the fragile beauty, the powerful color frenzy and the rich splendor of creation.

Whether special events or extraordinary celebrations, fine dining or a show with a band, company anniversary or conference, private celebration or concert: as an event location the Gasometer Pforzheim offers a unique ambience. And is considered the absolute highlight for a sophisticated event. Because the changing panoramic exhibitions offer a unique framework yet are more than just scenery.
