Parks and Gardens of the City

The Enzauenpark, with the large beer garden, has become a magnet for visitors to Pforzheim since the 1992 State Garden Show and is open all year round. From April to October around 100 events for all age groups take place here. The park also attracts visitors with its varied leisure and recreational facilities. The Stadtgarten is also a popular park for relaxing and picnicking on warm days. It can be reached on foot from the town centre along the banks of the Nagold River and the Reuchlinhaus with its jewellery museum.

The historic park of the Pforzheim main cemetery in the Nordstadt is one of the most beautiful in southwest Germany. Spared from attacks in the Second World War, works of sculpture and artistically designed tombs can still be found here. The two-winged walkway connects the cemetery portal with the mortuary and the blessing hall and presents a museum collection of historical grave monuments since 1917.
